Neon Summer Crackle Tutorial...Inspiration Saturday

So I decided to make a series of inspired.Every Saturday I will be posting up a new nail design inspired by an other blogger with the inspirational picture and a link to the blogger so you can check them out. This Saturday's inspiration comes from Elaine over at http://lacquerlaine.blogspot.com/.

So here's how I did it :

Colors used:

Orly Bonder Bottom Coat
INM Looks Wet High Shine Top Coat

Chine Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy

2012 Crackle Polish Black

Pure Ice Polish in Wild Thing

TOP: Wet N Wild Wild Shine in Sunny Side Up
Bottom: Quirius Polish (the name sticker came off) but its a neon pink

                                             Not Pictured:  Kiss Nail Art, thin brush polish in Beach Green

Add first color on bottom 1/4 th of nail (Wild Thing)

Then add next color (Flip Flop Fantasy) on nail, leaving just a little spot at the top for the last color

Go back over the bottom half of Flip Flop Fantasy (2and color) with Sunny Side Up and over lap it onto Wild Thing a little.Put the last color, the neon pink, at the tip.

Do a french tip with the neon pink color then use Beach Green or any neon green thin brush polish to make a line under the pink.

Then put on crackle top coat once polish is dry. I did my ring finger and thumb.

Flip Flop Fantasy n Cheetah Spots

I have been dying to try China Glaze's Flip Flop Fantasy and finally I  tried it out along with my Mash stamping plates.So for this manicure I painted all my nail with Flip Flop Fantasy. I did cheetah spots using China Glaze Liquid Leather on the thumb and ring finger and used Sinful Color's Pinky Glitter for the middle and pinky finger and also filled in the cheetah spots using Pinky Glitter and a dotting tool.

Glitter n Bling

I have never done a full rhinestone nail yet so I wanted to try this out. I kept the glitter on my ring finger from my previous manicure, and did a  french manicure on my other nails.

ITEMS USED

SALLY HANSEN HARD AS NAILS in PINK SAPPHIRE

NXY POLISH in NEON BLUE

BLUE PINK and GOLD RHINESTONES

KLEAN COLOR NAIL LACQUER in GOLD SHIMMER

ELF NAIL POLISH in NUDE

WET N WILD SHINE in SPARKLED

CHINA GLAZE in HOLLY JOLLY

PURE ICE in STRAPLESS

PURE ICE in MINT DREAM

CHINA GLAZE in MIDNIGHT KISS

AVALON in EMERALD CORAL

NICKA K in TEAL

I used ELF in Nude, then used Nicka K. in Teal for the tips

For the rhinestone nail I used the TEAL, MIDNIGHT KISS and PINK SAPPHIRE polishes and made a 3 color diagonal design. You can use the tape method to make sure your lines are straight if you need to.

Then I applied the rhinestones with nail glue ontop of it's corresponding polish color. The rhinestones can be found on http://shop.ebay.com/i.htm_nkw=nail+art+rhinestones&_frs=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m359

For the glitter nail I used Mint Dream as base then used a makeup wedge to apply the glitter polishes in layers starting from the top. Keep layering until you get your desired look. To make it look more blended  I sponged Sparkled on top of the glitter layers randomly.

And thats it....!!!!!
